If you're an Amazon seller, FMCG brand, or grocery business printing product labels one by one — you're wasting hours every week. PouchCraft lets you generate 500 print-ready labels from a CSV file in under 2 minutes.

This complete tutorial walks you through every step: uploading your template, mapping your CSV fields, previewing labels, and exporting your final ZIP file.

Step 1 — Upload Your Packaging Template

When you open PouchCraft, the first thing you do is upload your label template. This is your existing packaging design — it can be a PNG or PDF file that you've already designed in Canva, Illustrator, or any design tool.

Your template is the background. PouchCraft will place your product data (name, MRP, barcode, dates) on top of it automatically.

Tip: Make sure your template image is high resolution (at least 300 DPI) so your exported labels are print-ready.

Step 2 — Map Your Fields on the Template

Once your template is uploaded, you'll see it on the canvas editor. Now you drag and drop field boxes onto the exact positions where you want each piece of data to appear:

  • Brand name — top of the label
  • Product name — below the brand
  • Net Weight / Volume — middle section
  • MRP — bottom right
  • Batch Number — bottom left
  • Mfg. Date & Best Before Date — footer area
  • EAN-13 or CODE128 Barcode — bottom of label

You can resize each field box, change font size, font style, and alignment — all directly on the canvas.

Step 3 — Upload Your CSV File

Now the magic happens. You upload a CSV file with all your product data. Each row in your CSV = one label.

Your CSV should look like this:

Brand,ProductName,NetWeight,MRP,BatchNo,MfgDate,BestBefore,Barcode
Fresh Farm,Basmati Rice,1kg,₹120,FF240501,01/05/2024,01/05/2025,8901234567895
Nuts & More,Almonds,250g,₹199,NM240501,01/05/2024,01/05/2025,8901234567896

Once uploaded, PouchCraft automatically maps each column to the corresponding field on your template. You can review and adjust the mapping if needed.

Tip: You can have 500+ rows in your CSV — PouchCraft will generate a separate label for every single row.

Step 4 — Preview Your Labels

Before exporting, always preview your labels using the Preview Modal. Click the Preview button and you'll see exactly how each label will look — with real data filled in from your CSV.

You can scroll through all the labels, check that the text fits correctly, verify barcode positioning, and make sure dates and MRP are displaying properly.

If something looks off — go back, adjust the field position on the canvas, and preview again.

Step 5 — Export as PNG ZIP

Once you're happy with the preview, click Export. PouchCraft will:

  1. Generate every label with its unique product data
  2. Auto-generate barcodes for each row
  3. Package all label images into a ZIP file
  4. Download the ZIP to your device instantly

Inside the ZIP you'll find individual high-resolution PNG files — one per product row — named and ready to send to your printer.
