Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2025 · Effective immediately

This Cookie Policy explains how PouchCraft uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies when you visit our website or use our application. We keep it short: we only use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service. No advertising. No tracking.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit it. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you don't have to re-enter it on your next visit. Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (stored on your device until they expire or you delete them). They can also be "first-party cookies" (set by PouchCraft) or "third-party cookies" (set by other services).

2. How We Use Cookies

PouchCraft uses cookies only for essential purposes. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling cookies. Our cookies serve the following purposes: • Authentication: We store a secure session token so that you remain logged in while you use the application. Without this cookie, you would be signed out every time you navigate to a new page. • Security (CSRF protection): We set a short-lived token to protect your account against cross-site request forgery attacks. • Payment sessions: When you initiate a payment via Razorpay, a temporary session identifier is stored to link your browser session to the checkout flow.

3. Cookies We Set

The following first-party cookies are set by PouchCraft: Cookie name: sb-access-token Purpose: Supabase authentication session token Duration: Session (cleared on sign-out) Essential: Yes Cookie name: sb-refresh-token Purpose: Allows silent token refresh so you stay logged in Duration: Up to 30 days Essential: Yes Cookie name: __Host-csrf Purpose: CSRF protection for form submissions Duration: Session Essential: Yes No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are used on PouchCraft.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We use Razorpay to process payments. When you open the Razorpay checkout window, Razorpay may set its own cookies on your device to facilitate payment processing and fraud prevention. These cookies are governed by Razorpay's own cookie and privacy policy, which you can review at razorpay.com/privacy. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or marketing cookies.

5. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Here is how to do so in the most common browsers: • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data • Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies Please note: If you disable or delete the authentication cookies, you will be signed out of PouchCraft and will need to sign in again. The application will not function correctly without essential cookies enabled.

6. Do We Use Local Storage?

In addition to cookies, PouchCraft may use the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage to temporarily store your editor state (current template, field positions, CSV mapping) while you are working. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we change the technologies we use. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of PouchCraft after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
