Zero-tolerance fraud policy
PouchCraft verifies every payment server-side with Razorpay before activating any plan. Payment fraud, bad-faith chargebacks, account abuse, and export manipulation are reported to Razorpay, CERT-In, and law enforcement. See Sections 5 and 7 for full details.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PouchCraft. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and PouchCraft.
By accessing or using PouchCraft ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service — including users in India and users accessing the Service from outside India.
PouchCraft is a web-based bulk label generation tool that allows users to upload packaging templates, map CSV data to label fields, and export print-ready labels as PNG or PDF files. The Service includes barcode generation, multi-template routing, and project management features.
You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when creating an account. Creating accounts with false identities, stolen credentials, or for the purpose of circumventing plan limits or fraud detection is strictly prohibited. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow third parties to use your subscription. Each subscription is for a single named individual or organisation only. Notify us immediately at contact@pouchcraft.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We will take prompt action including account freeze and payment hold where fraud is suspected.
Paid plans (Pro and Business) are billed on a monthly or annual basis in Indian Rupees (INR). All payments are processed by Razorpay and are subject to their terms of service. • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. • GST at applicable rates will be added to all invoices as required under the Indian Goods and Services Tax Act. • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. • Downgrading your plan takes effect at the next billing cycle. All payment transactions are verified server-side against Razorpay's API. The plan amount, currency (INR), and payment status ("captured") are cryptographically confirmed before any plan upgrade is applied. Attempting to manipulate payment amounts, replay payment IDs, or bypass payment verification is a criminal offence under the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 and the Indian Penal Code.
PouchCraft operates a zero-tolerance policy against payment fraud. The following acts are prohibited and may result in immediate account termination, reporting to law enforcement, and civil or criminal proceedings: PAYMENT FRAUD • Providing fraudulent, stolen, or unauthorised payment details. • Initiating chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith after receiving and using the Service. • Attempting to replay a previously used payment ID to obtain a second plan upgrade. • Manipulating payment amounts or bypassing server-side payment verification. • Using a subscription paid by a stolen card, UPI ID, or net banking credential. ACCOUNT & IDENTITY FRAUD • Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials or refund policies. • Impersonating another person or organisation during registration. • Using bots, scripts, or automated means to create accounts or exploit the Service. EXPORT ABUSE • Artificially manipulating export count records to exceed plan limits without payment. • Sharing login credentials to allow multiple users to share a single-seat subscription. • Using the Service to generate labels for counterfeit, illegal, or misrepresented products. INTERNATIONAL USERS • Users outside India who access the Service are subject to these same fraud provisions. Applicable laws in the user's jurisdiction (including but not limited to the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (US), Computer Misuse Act (UK), and equivalent EU/GCC legislation) may additionally apply. • Chargebacks raised via international cards or payment networks in bad faith will be contested with full transaction evidence, and the user's details will be reported to the relevant card network fraud database. We actively monitor all payment and export activity for anomalies. Suspicious activity is logged, flagged, and may be reported to Razorpay's fraud team, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), CERT-In, or relevant national law enforcement.
PouchCraft is used to generate product labels that may be subject to Indian and international regulatory requirements (including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, BIS, and export-destination labelling laws). You are solely responsible for ensuring that: • All product information in your labels is accurate, truthful, and compliant with applicable regulations. • Labels intended for export comply with the labelling laws of the destination country. • You hold all necessary licences and registrations (FSSAI, IEC, etc.) required for the products you are labelling. Generating labels with deliberately false or misleading product information — including incorrect weight, MRP, ingredient declarations, or regulatory marks — is a violation of Indian law (Legal Metrology Act 2009, FSSAI Act 2006) and may constitute criminal fraud under the IPC. PouchCraft is not responsible for regulatory non-compliance arising from incorrect data entered by users. We reserve the right to suspend accounts where we have reasonable grounds to believe the Service is being used to facilitate deceptive labelling.
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us first at contact@pouchcraft.in before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We resolve almost all billing disputes within 2 business days. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us (a "friendly fraud" chargeback) is a breach of these Terms. In such cases: • We will submit full transaction evidence to Razorpay and your card issuer, including payment verification logs, account activity, and export records. • The account will be permanently terminated with no possibility of reinstatement. • We reserve the right to pursue recovery of the amount and related costs through civil proceedings. • Repeated chargeback abuse will be reported to Razorpay's fraud team and may result in the user being flagged across Razorpay's merchant network. For disputes involving sums greater than ₹50,000, we will additionally report the matter to the Cyber Crime Cell of the relevant jurisdiction.
Please see our separate Refund Policy at /refund for full details. In summary: we offer a 7-day refund on first-time Pro plan purchases. Business plan refunds are evaluated case-by-case. No refunds are issued for partial months after the refund window.
You agree not to: • Use PouchCraft to generate labels with false, misleading, or fraudulent product information. • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations (including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, or other Indian packaging laws, or equivalent laws in your country). • Use the Service to generate labels for counterfeit goods or goods infringing third-party intellectual property rights. • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service. • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service's security. • Use automated scripts to abuse API access beyond your plan limits. • Circumvent export limits through account manipulation, credential sharing, or any other means. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund, and to report violations to relevant authorities.
You retain full ownership of your template images and CSV data. By using PouchCraft, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Your CSV and image files are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers. However, metadata about your exports (template name, row count, format, and timestamp) is recorded for billing integrity and fraud prevention purposes.
PouchCraft, its logo, and all underlying software are the intellectual property of PouchCraft and are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without explicit written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, PouchCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. Nothing in this clause limits our ability to take legal action against users who commit fraud, abuse, or criminal acts against PouchCraft or our payment systems.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to the Indian Contract Act 1872, the Information Technology Act 2000 (as amended), the Consumer Protection Act 2019, and the Indian Penal Code. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. For users outside India: by using the Service, you consent to the jurisdiction of Indian courts for any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service, without prejudice to our right to seek injunctive or other relief in any competent jurisdiction.
If you become aware of any fraudulent activity related to PouchCraft — including impersonation of PouchCraft, phishing attempts, or misuse of the Service — please report it immediately to: contact@pouchcraft.in (subject: "Fraud Report") We take all fraud reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports may be escalated to Razorpay, CERT-In, or law enforcement as appropriate.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice for material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
